About Our Chamber Orchestra
Chamber Orchestra, the top orchestra at Cherry Creek High School, is an auditioned ensemble comprised of roughly 35 students. Students are exposed to a wide variety of literature ranging from full symphonies to contemporary and chamber music literature. Over 80% of the students in Chamber Orchestra study with private teachers and many participate in local youth orchestras. The orchestra has been selected to perform at the Colorado Music Educators Convention in 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019 and students have the opportunity to work with many well renowned guest artists and conductors. Auditions for Chamber Orchestra take place in March every year. Please contact Jennifer Poole, orchestra director, for more information.
